I can't get enough perspective from these pictures to have an opinion, other than to say it certainly looks like a Corvette. Looking forward to seeing the real thing.

I wish they would just hurry the F up and release this stupid car already! I don't even like it already just because of all the hype and all the "spy" photos. Probably going to be a huge disappointment.

What I immediately notice is a lot of aerodynamic refinement. Front end looks like it will give a bit more downforce. Sides are flatter with less bulging. I am still very curious about the hood and rear fender vents. The front would also seem to offer more cooling area.

I REALLY want to see the convertible!

I just hope they do something about those hood vents. I know it's a rendering but for the love of god please axe that idea.

Aren't these renderings rumored to be the ZR-1 version? If so, the base car will likely not have the vents.

Well with the Viper doing it I wouldn't be surprised to see them. They do serve an aerodynamic purpose and they help cool the engine bay.

I remember the C5 was so unstable at high speed people were removing the rear hood seal to try and help alleviate some of the upward pressure on the front of the vehicle that tends to happen in the mid to high threes.

I would bet the ZR1 continues with its clear hood window. It is unique to the brand and easily identifiable. I think it would be a mistake to eliminate it from the production version. My guess is this is a rendering of the base.

With the bottom picture being a real photo of a C6, the top rendering of a C7 concept appears to be way out of perspective making the front forward of the windshield exaggerated. See how much longer the hood and even more so the front facia is way different than the C6 shown. That C7 rendering even looks much narrower than what we have seen in the mule video. If someone could photoshop that top picture to correct the proportions to be more similar to the C6 we could possibly see it differently. Thanks

Yeah, it is the difference between a wide angle shot very close and a tight shot from far away. Just find a wide angle shot very close of the Z06. Or just use your imagination. Here is the closest I can find...

Lots of CTS-V look in that picture.

Thanks BlueOx, that does help, especially with the front facia.
