Default More influence on the tail lamps than the Camaro?

Still round. Sort of. I wonder if we aren't seeing some styling hints right in front of us. I do like the split-window spear on the back glass, but I doubt that's what we'll see.

Half-round, sort of. Thanks for posting that pic. Interesting.

I am betting we will see half round before we see the Camaro style tail lights depicted over and over. I personally like this look better than all round.

Hey, I heard from a reliable source () that the new C7 will not only have the half-round lights, but will also have the Lambo doors of the Prototype.

They could use the flat top tail lights and keep it looking like a Corvette.

I personally cannot see any manufacture producing a mass production car with Lambo doors except for a very limited volume (less than a 1000). They are simply too impractical.

Or a Terrain. I saw one today, flat-top taillights. Made me shiver a little.

I think if you look at that GA prototype you'll see all kinds of styling hints. Like the rear center shape between those half round tail lights, and the rear window spear, and the frront grille openings and the headlights. GM spent a lot of money to influence that shape. I think they are preparing our appetite for what is to be served.

Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar.

This racer echoes C6 styling elements. Any connection to C7 will be coincidental.

BTW, take another look at the Camaro taillights. They're partial circles within a rectangle.

They'll revise it to look more like a C7 (whatever that is, but bet on Jalopnik with nicer detailing) for the 2014 season...

The tails on the DP look a lot worse than the C6 IMO. However, that gray prototype above is a different story. But I doubt they'll be like that. We'll see .

Not sure about the roundness or shapes at all but LEDs (front and rear) are definitely in the plans as far as I can tell.

If you watch the GA series you hear the commentators talking about the DP Corvettes having more downforce than the other DP cars due to the styling. Maybe we see a similar body shape, with less weight, a little less HP and massively more responsive.

I also agree with this. GM understands that this car needs to bridge the C6 and C7 stylistically. This car will be competing years after the launch of the C7. You can see lots of cues from the Stingray concept including the front tilting B pillar and the overtly dramatic fender treatment.

LED taillights as well as daytime running lights can be seen on the mule from the videos. I see it as a welcome change because General Motors, in my opinion, to not make use of LED lights nearly as often as they should.

As for the "Camaro" taillights, I do not understand the negative stigma about them. Would it be such a bad thing if something similar finds its way onto the C7? I love the large, round taillights on the C6, but a more squared look for the C7 would add a bit of aggression.
