Default Authentic? C7 Rear Photo...hmmmmm

Ok so I saw this on another site...not sure if it is authentic or not...but sure as hell seems it. Fits right in with renderings we have already seen. I do seem some lines that don't quite match up and some colors seem a little too dark (such as the black molding around the window). Definitely looks like it could be a part photo, part photoshop, mixed in with some rendering. Either way whatever it is...I think its pretty close to the real deal.

Iam not a big fan but it could be worst i guess. I wasn't a big fan of the C6's front end when it came out so I guess this can and should be expected....hey there will be plenty of aftermarket panels Iam sure of.

The exhaust surround isn't right per actual camo car. Needs Corvette script probably under C7 emblem.

I think that it will be pretty close to this. Its missing the corvette lettering tho and I bet theres a few other small details missing.

It's a photoshop retouch of a retouch done by MikeG37 (I think that's his name) of an original Trinity Animation redering of their C7 model.

I know the person that created this particular image (used to work with him) and based on all the latest spy photos and CAD images of the rear, I think it is quite close to what the final design will look like. Except for the tail lights, which based on the CAD shot of the rear, will be quite different from those shown in the image.

All I can say, all these leaks and hypothetical renderings, have got many people excited about C7 that I didn't see during C5 & C6 pre-realese period. All in all, I see a lot of positive talks and eagerness towards C7. As a Corvette fan, that makes me happy!

Guys, this isn't even close. The lower corner vertical lights aren't lights at all but are (at least from the KeekCAD CorvetteTM) brake cooling vents.
This is from the GM Authority web site...

I am glad you brought this up again Ox. First, I do think the MikeG37 tweak is close to the KeekCAD except for the brake ducts.
Secondly I mentioned before that keeks said that the MikeG37 rear fascia was "dead nuts on" and on another occasion he said the rear lights were round at bottom , cut off by bezel up top. Do you remember any of that?

I will just have to wait till I get a better view of the KeekCAD that matches the angle of Mike's version.

You are right, I am always knee jerking. The bottom of that tail light could appear damn close to what is perceived as " round "

The rear of the car, looks like a face from a transformers movie robot. Man, I hope thats not it. The real C7.

I know GM is reaching out to a younger crowd, making cars that look like toy robots.....F**K no.

IMO MikeG37's render looks better than keeks. Thing is though,
keeks is the real deal. At least I think so due to it's matching jalopy.

Either way, just look at the stance this car is going to have. Amazing, is all I can say.
