Well, the cat is already out of the bottle, and the genie is out of the bag.
They're never going to unring that horse, or get the bell back into the barn, so what's the point?

OK, Keeks, here is what you do...
Take all of the CAD files you still have that we haven't seen and do a mass PM to us all at once!!
Then we will ALL publish a thread with all the CAD files at once!!! Can't stop us all!

My opinion is that they (and the authorities) are delaying everything till February (after the reveal). I'm mostly thinking about Jalopnik. Acting now would confirm what they're trying to keep secret.

I believe you are correct. As GM demonstrates they can wield the heavy hand, it may benefit them to use the forum's feedback to correct, if possible, some of the more disliked features. CF is a large focus group which members love Corvettes, albeit with different tastes.

The point of pulling the thread is it prevents MORE people from seeing it. I bet if you post a new thread with a copy of that pic, the new thread will get yanked too. Sure, you can email it around to your friends, but fewer people will see it than if it's posted in a super-convenient location.
It will be interesting to see what happens over at Jalopnik.

GM already does focus group feedback and I am sure they keep tabs of the opinions here. Remember that they are probably looking at some different ages/countries/economic groups for this Corvette generation.
At this point I would guess they are looking at 3-5 yrs mid gen changes vs what is coming in January. That is already set in stone and, of course, we still haven't seen the real deal or the options they will offer yet.
