Default Round Tail Lights

This is the best I could do with my very basic photoshop skills. Maybe someone else can give it a go.

not directed towards your photoshop skills but I've grown to like what the new rear end looks like....

Me too, sort of.
I think perhaps that a combination of the CAD pics we first saw yesterday morphed along with those round tail lights above might be something interesting.

I hear ya, and I agree, the round tail lights on the new body just look hideous...

Good job Jock!! I still don't like the rear, but I could live with that.

I know I'm not doing it justice one way or another. I was just trying to see if the round tail lights would even look good on the bulging rear and I just don't know. I know it's my photoshop, but even I don't particularly like it.

For the record, I'm having a hard time with the batman/robin-like renderings of the new lights. We'll just have to wait and see.

The renders have grown on me also. Maybe I looked at them too much!

In fact to me, the C6 is starting to look old.

The taillights aren't what's wrong with the rear end. It's everything else.

Wait till that C7 is out for just a few months, then compare to the tired and dated round lights. I think they are gone from Corvette for the long haul and that's a good thing. Nice job on the photochop though.

I really don't like the new lights, and I don't think they even look very camaroish long as a half circle doesn't light up. More mustang then anything. But this shows how disjointed the new rear as a whole is. Its got a hundred different angles, so now round lights would just look out of place.

On a side note, we should post these pics everywhere online. Get everyone to believe they will be circular lights lol.

I'm not against keeping the round tail lights, but they'll have to re-do them somewhat to make it work.

I wish I had the artistic talent to design my own C7. I have it in my head, but can't bring it out for others to see.

I can't wait till the car rags get a hold of the C7. I bet they will have a field day with this thing.

I like the round lights. They are kinda like a trademark for the car.

Design wise the C7 lines flow better with the new tail lights design. just my personal opinion.

I Agree that the new lights look better with the new design.

It will take some getting used to but It will be for the better in the end I think.

Plus the Round lights look a bit dated on that new rear. Not to mention looks very GTRish.
