Looking at the CAD drawings there appears to be a double edge on top of front fenders. Is there a full view of front end that actually shows this feature? I think over all the C7 will have sharper lines and less roundness. I'm thinking the exhaust tips won't even be round. I'm sure the wheels and front headlights projectors will be round Look at the lines on a CTS caddy, GM can do stealthy sharp, round is out.
Can someone post the CAD pic. (engine compartment) , thanks

Hard to say what is happening there. The CADs we have seen are not complete and this one seems to be missing a lot of body back from the firewall. There doesn't appear to be a hood. I can't really tell what is happening with the fender.
From the looks of it this engine is not the new Small Block V8 engine. This is the new twin turbo V6 engine.
Either way it's about time GM gets a twin turbo engine in their vehicles.
If GM puts a V6 engine in the C7 corvette, I do believe my head would literally explode and my headless body would haunt the GM corporate HQ building forever...

Well, it'll probably happen some day...I just doubt it will happen in my lifetime.

Yeah, I get a little crazy when I hear V6 talk. I think the corvette V8s more then hold their own in the MPG category. No need for a change right now. My old GT3 produced a little over 400hp and I never got better than 22 MPG on the hwy (I won't even mention city mpgs). A buddy of mine owns a GT-R and he never sees better than 21. In comparison, I was driving with another buddy on the hwy in his 2009 ZO6 and he's getting 28 mpg cruising at 75mph....enough said! My GT3 used to scream down the hwy at 75 mph and would chew gas in the process while my buddy's ZO6 engine would just yawn along at 75mph at 2000 rpms. I was amazed and sold on a ZO6 at that point. Now just waiting to see the C7 before making a purchase. The wait is agonising!
