A request to the Mods/Administrator....
How about putting up an announcement or sticky explaining what went on with the deletion of Keeks pictures and the locking of his threads? Is it unreasonable to ask what transpired in the process? How was GM involved, if at all?
Since, as far as I am aware, GM is not a sponsor here and many of us are paying members, it would seem that some sort of explanation would be appropriate.
Thanks!

I'm guessing here...the mods may not know why. They might have just been told by higher ups to take it down.
The higher ups may have told them to take it down because they just don't want to have GM POed at them and/or were threatened with potential legal action. I do know that if an internet host is told they have copyrighted information on their site illegally, there are a variety of legal remedies they (GM) could take to get it removed.

I posted a query in the Steering Committee section. I'll let you know when I hear something.

If they can't come up with any articulate valid reason for pulling these photos by Monday people should stop donating money to this site.
It seems like the only one that's buckling under GM pressure if in fact that is the case.
Noone else is running scared but Corvette Forum

Whats there to remove? This is the internet. Do they actually believe by eliminating the pics or threads from this forum that they rid the entire internet of them as well? C'mon. This is a joke. I saved all the pics anyway.

Usually.... the forum will get a cease and desist order or just a kind, please take this and this and this down.

Maybe we should all just take our archived copies and repost them here continuously - our own protest in support of Keeks!
My original point, though, was to understand what happened, and why - unless GM required a non disclosure statement on that........?
Edit - I see Keeks is viewing this thread as of the time of this edit! Hang in there, 'bro!

I agree with jbomx363. I think it's fairly obvious what happened. The owner of the CAD image requested that CF take it down. CF complied, as they should. This has nothing to do with GM being a sponsor of the site or you paying a membership fee.
