Look the Vette is an American Muscle car and just because its looking alil more european so what?
I love the way that rendering looks, if that was the next C7 and if it came with good interior I'd be all over it.
The Vette looked sexier than the Ferrari in the 50s in my opinion and then the Ferrari stole it away from the Vette in the 90s I think.
So just because the Vette may look more and more European it still looks good and is still an American car. Support the Vette or it'll be gone

Do you really find that car (that is likely not the 'exact' car we'll be getting by the way) to be totally UGLY?
Curious what you think of the C6's styling.

Think its **** poor if this is the new Corvette. Not all that far from the C6 that I have owned and was very unimpressed with. We shall see if this is it, if so GM has sold out for all the hype! To each there own...

Call me old fart at 43 all you want but I can deal with the jalop rendering better than this one. As a matter of fact I like the jalop rendering the best!!
On the other hand...it seems to me that this is the car that GM and SRT have their sights on and are trying their bestest to resemble IMHO, and we all know already that opinions are like azzholez, because everyone has one. Ferrari 599 GTO

I'd say it will look pretty similar to that, given the Jalop renderings were supposedly of a ZR1 and this one has less vents and other stuffs. Also I don't think the vender vent will be that...angular or "7" looking. Just my opinion though, we'll see.
Another thing I've noticed, people keep saying GM sold out, too european9, looks a lot like this or that. Now I'm sure most of you recall what previous generation vettes look like. Have any of actually looked at all gens starting from the first in depth then looked at either this or Jalops renderings? I only ask this because for me its hard not to see 6 generations of design elements throughout the renderings. It may look a bit euro but imo its hard to say they didn't follow through with vette DNA. Now I didn't say it was drop dead gorgeous but I think a lot you who are doubting will certainly love the actual car once released.

Melting Slicks
From that angle, it looks like a 370Z from the rear and C6 with a big mouth with lipstick on from the front. With some tweaks it could be okay, but not as is.

As long as every performance spec is at least the same or better than the C6 AND they don't hike the msrp $10k, I am in.
I guess horsepower could be lower as long as power to weight is better and 0-60 is better.

It's the most elegant and sexy version of the Jalopnik car that I've seen.
