From what I've heard on the web (and we all know how reliable THAt is) it will have a horizontal divider bar across the rather large grille opening . . . somewhat in the new Chevrolet corporate look mode, but thankfully without the big gold bow tie. Not that I have a problem with the Corvette continuing to be identified as a Chevrolet, financially that's a good thing . . . but I think that bar will change the looks quite a bit. For better or worse, who knows? Thoughts?

I am a young feeling 43 year old and feel this rendering is sweet. Guess I grew tired of the 'oh gawd I hope this isn't it' statements. The old farts comment seemed appropriate.
I will buy a 2015 for certain.

Rest assured, that if the white car is the C7, my old C6 Z06 will have a secure parking spot in my garage.

The problem isn't so much "old farts" as it is the incredible degree of self-centered orientation that causes some to think that "if I don't love it then it is a terrible design". I personally think that the entire minivan concept is an insult to the metal, plastic, and whatever other dog excrement is used to construct them but they obviously appeal to a very large number of people. I love the lines of my current CTS (2008) but if it gains a lot of bulk in the 2014 redesign then another car will replace it as my daily driver-perhaps an ATS if Cadillac division wises up and adds cooled seats as an option But a bigger CTS will attract a lot of buyers, just not me.
The perfect radio station for everyone doesn't exist, that is one reason Ipods are so popular. I have yet to find THE perfect restaurant in all of the places I have lived and visited. The C-7 won't be perfect for me either but I will buy one unless it ends up looking like a minivan
As for as denigrating an entire state based upon the comments of one person... well I really can't come up with a constructive response to that as I sit typing on a PC that owes much of its technology to Silicon Valley.

Before Anyone gets upset about European design influences, take a look at the 1957ish Alfa Romeo that Bill Mitchell said influenced his 1963 Stingray. Also look at this 1967 Ferrari's rear windows and tell me some of that design wasnt utilized in the 68 Vette. As long as they look towards Italy we'll be OK, Now if GM decides to look towards Japan or Germany for design inspiration we're all in deep trouble!

Truth is, sorry Camarro fans, the new Camarro design was sort of interesting at first but I've really tired of it and much prefer the Mustang now. Heretick to say it but if you gave me my choice between a Camarro and that low window look and a Saleen Mustang, I'd go with the Mustang. better lines.

I "like" it. I could see myself buying one but I don't "love" it so I won't feel like I have to have it right away.
I am my own worst enemy when it comes to new car fever but I think I'll be able to wait for a nice used one if this is the actual C7.
