That was the Stingray prototype used in the latest Transformers movie. A lot of people assumed it would be the next Vette because the Camaro prototype used in the first Transformers movie was the same body style as the new 5th gen Camaro.

That car is pure silly. Pretty sure GM got ahold of my lunchbox scribbles for my year 2000 space car that I penned sometime in the early 80's. No other way to explain that concept.
