The designers make many experiments in clay before committing to a final model. The guy is apparently sculpting the interior.

Your right, just above the quarter window is some black tape or one half of a Velco fastener. Iti sprobably covering something critical......

The part we can see appears to just have some velcro strips (as pointed out by someone else) left on the areas previously covered with camo. There is no velcro on the roof itself because it has shown in many of the spy shots w/o camo on it. None of the spy shots have ever shown a driver wearing a helmet so the conclusion regarding high speed testing.

That strip that starts just behind the door, (Under the first velcro strip) and runs from the roof and down out of frame just doesn't look right and the rear quarter window looks like it has something over it?

Man, you can smell the desperation for info in this place...
I don't think you can tell anything of substance from these pics. The clay shot could easily be something other than a light fixture. I may be the roof showing a bit of the quarter window...who knows?
