In what you quoted, I was referring to the first picture. In the second picture, the clay model, I believe they may be revealing the shape of the top of a tail light.

It looks like the left hand side of the passenger dash, with the opening being a vent?? I know it's not visible in this pic but the line looks similar.

He looks more to me like a professional driver involved with putting an uncamoflaged prototype C7 through high speed testing at an unknown location.

Your right, just above the quarter window is some black tape or one half of a Velco fastener. Iti sprobably covering something critical......

Or do you mean there may be camo on other parts of the car that are out of frame?

The part we can see appears to just have some velcro strips (as pointed out by someone else) left on the areas previously covered with camo. There is no velcro on the roof itself because it has shown in many of the spy shots w/o camo on it. None of the spy shots have ever shown a driver wearing a helmet so the conclusion regarding high speed testing.

Wow. Ya stay away for awhile, hoping something... anything.... would pop up "new" and give ya hope. And then something like this shows up... and I am compelled to comment... after taking some Pepto Bismal.... that all hope is "dashed" (pun intended) again. Looks like even the intrior may have GM's current Nightmare Before Christmas bad hallucinagenic distorted reality Camaro and now Malibu based goofball shaped misfires for guage clusters and other air outlet assemblies.
That about sums up that unfortunate interior leak.

That strip that starts just behind the door, (Under the first velcro strip) and runs from the roof and down out of frame just doesn't look right and the rear quarter window looks like it has something over it?

I don't think you can tell anything of substance from these pics. The clay shot could easily be something other than a light fixture. I may be the roof showing a bit of the quarter window...who knows?
