A little bit to go on ...
Something GM should have been doing all along with it's base.
Reveal something ambiguous... let the speculation build add some more teasers, obfuscate, misdirect and so it goes.

Don't start this 3 months out from the Proof of Concept reveal date.
At least GM is getting better with it's marketing execution , but still operating at a junior varsity level.

It's three months till the reveal, 6 months 'til you can order and 10 months 'til they actually deliver.

How far out do you think they need to be?

GM has done this a time or two before, They know how to release a Corvette and when they change that game plan, they screw it up - - look at how far out they did the Camaro and the Volt.
The Volt became a huge disappointment because the finished car looked nothing like the concept and the Camaro felt like it had been out for a full year before they ever hit the ground.

Are you seriously saying the Camaro is a screw up?

That isn't the question. The question was did GM screw up sales of the Camaro by showing it too early. I say no as it has been a great success vs it's competition.

When they should have brought a new Camaro to market is a whole other discussion.

I certainly think Corvette sales have suffered by leaving the C6 out too long and waiting too long to bring the C7 to market.

I also understand that bankruptcy had a lot to do with BOTH the 'Maro and the C7 taking longer than intended.

Told you, as far as the exterior, I've only seen the profile in Vegas. Never seen the front or back. The interior and engine specs, that's a different story.

Don't remember any of the renderings with any more than a wide open black mouth in the front. But they were all exactly correct, right?

I went through frame by frame and found the key subliminal frame. GM is tricky!

Yeah I just came here to point out that glimpse at 0:45. I wish we had an enhance function. Are those the tails or what are they?

*EDIT* nm looking at it further those are the tailpipes.

Those wheels look just like the Jalopnik pics. More proof that those pics could be authentic.

I like the slotted rotors.

"Nothing will be the same." Is this just GM trying to calm us down, as in, no other car, not even the Camaro, is going to look like the new Vette?!

I hope so.
