I think people need to look a little closer. I will not deny, there is certainly some validity to the Jalopnik photo...they definitely are part of a security breach that will change how GM does things. The accuracy is there....to a point.

I do believe, I see some differences, which have nothing to do with the fact it's a vert.

For one, I think this bumper on this vert reveals very large out brake ducts, which are no part of the Jalopnik rendering. The side mirrors are also different, very clearly. Also, the leading edge of the front bumper has somewhat of a "kink" in it. It's not a smooth leading edge I don't think.

If you look at the Aventador, there is a bit of a break in the leading edge of the front bumper, that I swear appears to be beneath this camo. I believe the Jalopnik has validity, but I do not think this is an exact representation of what we're gonna see in January.

The hood does not look the same to me. The spy photo car it appears to drop off sharper the the Jalopnik rendering. Because this spy photo is a roadster and not a coupe it is hard to say much more,

You may be looking at a ZR1 vs a base car also...

I think that it looks too smooth/thin to be covering a retractible hard top. I would also think they would have just covered it with camo if that was the case.
