I fail to see how anyone can be disappointed with 450hp. This is the number we have been expecting for over a year now.
More HP, more low end torque, and more efficient.....I guess some people just can't be happy

Yeah, from what I've seen, I'm all for it. The only people I've heard that hate it was the LS3 G8s and Camaro guys that didn't like the sound. That won't bother me since I never change the mufflers on a car. (Stock sound is always more impressive to me.)
Electric power steering, as was rumored from the mid 2000's. GM said they wanted to go electric power steering long ago, and that it'd have to wait for the next generation of Corvette.

You know... I am a little surprised not to see a dry sump system... I know it's not the greatest setup for daily drivers and I know it's more expensive to maintain, but I somewhat expected to see it standard. I'm wondering if the next dry sump system from GM will actually be good this time.

I'd be willing to bet the final number is significantly better than 450hp. I'm gonna guess between 470-480hp.
I do like how they are slowly starting to release info before the January unveiling. Kudos GM!

I've seen this game being played by GM before with the Camaro ZL1 reveal when I was following that. They are going the under promise, over deliver route.
One thing is for sure, I'm very happy to see them using a 6.2 instead of the rumored 5.5.
