Default white LED DRL strings

Just a passing styling gimmick? As they appear on more and more cars, I'm liking them less and less. At least they aren't as overpowering on the Trinity C7 rendering as some of the cars on the road. They remind me of the new age Holiday lights.

We can expect lighting surrounding the headlamps as is the current fad. But it looks like it won't be the annoying string lighting. Based in the first teaser video a few weeks ago, it looks like it will be a solid glowing bar (similar to what some Audis are now doing) in a hockey stick shape.

Audi screwed up on their cars that first had these.

There was no styling to the inclusion; they look like an afterthought.

Audi design team:

"We'st needz der LED's !!!"

"Whear would'st we putz them?"

"Iz doesn't matter; anywhare on durst car; juzt as loong as we'st have der LED's - the preppiez will masturbaits"

I feel a light stick would look better. We are at the whims of the design team.

The current Cadillacs use a very attractive light bar

I can confirm that this is correct.

I like the white leds for drls a whole lot better than the amber turn signals GM was using in the late 90s and during the 2000s.
