With so many stressing over the design of the tail lights, how is it that most have overlooked the most important issue at hand. That being, will the new design finally put a stop to the dreaded drip

Are you guys talking about the side mirrors dripping after washing the ace or are you talking about the massive drip into the cockpit when you open the window a bit and it's raining?
I much prefer to endure any nonsense and keep the good looks.....
Still if it's a subject other than the taillights I m good with it.
I think the styling sketches we ve seen so far are awesome and the performance will be even more so

Will rectangles drip less than circles? Side note, my passenger mirror is the biggest drip monster. I have perpetual hard water stains down the side of my right door.

It better not! That is now Corvette tradition!! I wouldn't even consider buying a C7 w/o the drip----- I'll get a Mustang, Challenger, Porsche, BMW, Mercedes, Nissan, Lexus, Honda or even Smart Car first!!!

i wrap small towels around the base of the side mirrors after washing and drying the car. Any and all drip is collected in the towels and therfore i do not have stains going down the side of the car.

Actually I thought he was talking about the drips from the water that collects around the tail lights.
But the other drips are good questions also,, and while were talking about things that seriously need to be corrected, how about a climate control that stays on manual when you put it there instead of switching back to full auto every time you change a setting.
Or how about decent intermittent wipers. The algorithm that has them slow down as the car slows down is way behind the times and backwards. With most people using RainX once you are going over 55mph you hardly need wipers, and they need to go faster in slow traffic.
What about a hatch that actually pops up every time, or pedals that don't get slippery when your shoes are wet.
How about an XM delete option, how about an ONstar delete option. I would have taken both of those even if they didn't save me any money.

I use my leaf blower to dry my car...blows all the water out with no residual drip!

Best drying method, ever.
I will say that some neighbors look at me funny while I'm leaf blowing the entire car.
