No; it's called being able to see the small details that can make or break a design.

Pretty sure it's not going to look EXACTLY like a 599 so don't go jumping off the bridge just yet. However, anytime you can get a 'Vette looking close to something that costs 5x more than it that's a good thing as far as I'm concerned.

Takes you back to 1963, except the 63 had two(non functional) vents. Both have the "vents" located in a recessed area, not just stuck on top of the hood like the renderings show.

That grabbed my attention, too. I think at least the base C7 will have 2-piece rotors.

It's tough to tell because the connection would be on the backside. I saw a one piece rotor similar to this on the latest Audi TT-R

Looking better, it does have a little bit of the 599. Ok, GM, just show us the car, we have been waiting and you have done an awful job of keeping it under wraps! No surprise since the jalopnik came out months ago...

It is going to be good looking and an exciting car to own....... I just hope that a fixed roof model is included in the lineup.

I was going to post the same comments when I read your post. The lights are different and the intake is more aggressive, but the general shape is still C6. Earlier renderings showed a much lower front profile.

The more C6 like it gets the better it looks.

Which rendering showed an actual license plate holder like the one I have circled below?

I suggest you look up the definition of context and apply it to the quote I was responding to.
