Default Jet streaming ignore list tutorial

Many will want to ignore me as well which is kosher.

Anyhow, once you see someone like Jet Streaming trolling, someone claim there is a rear seat, mention anything about a Camaro or anyone named meatpunch, simply scroll up to UserCp and select ignore list.

It is so freeing to visit C7 again and not have to listen to someone repetitively bellow their point.

This forum is for people to say how they feel about the rumors etc.
Even if they hate it.
But once you say it 50 times to the ignore list you go.

Express your opinion, provide your reasons and then move on.

Good idea Keeks. These guys post just to iritate other members. I am fairly confident that Jetstreaming was banned a couple times from the forum back in 03-04 for the same crap. You can't stop a troll from signing up with a new user name.

Default How to ignore a troll.

Reposted from another thread:

In the menu bar near the top of the page, click User CP. Your User Control Panel appears.

In the left side menu, click Edit Ignore List. The Edit Ignore List page appears.

In the edit box under "Add a Member to Your List..." type the name of the user you wish to ignore, e.g. Colorado C6 and click Okay.

Henceforth, instead of seeing that member's posts, you will see a single line:

This message is hidden because Colorado C6 is on your ignore list. You can click View Post to reveal the hidden post without modifying your Ignore List, but I don't recommend it.

I've been contemplating ignoring the while c7 section until > 1/13/13. All it's been (with the exception of ox's thread) is nothing but negaitve, dead horse beating, personal attacking, fake rumoring and trolling. What was once a fun section with credible info has turned to a crap fest. Enjoy the next 2 weeks. I'll see you all > 1/13/13...

Gee...thanks!

It has gotten weirder around here the closer we get to 1-13-13, but I wouldn't go too far away as you just never know when the next real C7 news will happen.

its universally accepted that not all peple like each other. in the world of online forums, its often hard to read sarcasm, body motions, or tone of voice. this often leads to misinterpretation or worse. they arent banning you from posting, but rather banning themselves from reading your written words, who cares? they will still appear to others, just not to those who choose to ignore someone. this works on any site using forum runner.
