Cameras everywhere but still no C7 pic...pretty impressive security GM!!
Been lurking for a couple months now....sorry not a troll.
Here we are less than two weeks from the big reveal, and not one pic of the actual car yet. Stop and think how amazing that is with all the cameras we have in our cell phones and such.
In today's world of instant information, I never gave GM a chance at getting this far without an actual pic snapped by someone somewhere.
Back in C5 days, there was a uncamoed pic on the front of a magazine in October, three months before its reveal date.
Amazing if you really think about it.
My $.02. I think the car looks amazing from what we know so far. These people designing these things are amazing.

I have to admit I agree with you. It is pretty amazing that we don't have one yet. GM has done a great job of keeping that camo on.
I think there will be a real market for the C7 camo-print covers GM will be marketing! They are a part of Corvette history now!

It's less amazing that it leaked in November 2011: http://jalopnik.com/5858683/exclusiv...chevy-corvette

9 MODEL YEARS FOR A CAR,ANY CAR,IS ABOUT 4 YEARS TO LONG IN TODAY'S WORLD..They should have brought this car out a year ago at least. All this hype however, does garner a lot of attention. If people care after the release remains to be seen. If that rendering by Jalopnik is accurate,I'll be one guy keeping my c6. They do the same thing it seems, with every new gen release. They had the c5 dressed up like the c4 to fool people. The camo on the c7 reveals nothing but the roof for sure.

Around Christmas 2003, we were treated to this official image leaked from the press kit. I was hoping for a similar leak this year. GM's been doing well with holding back official photos so far.
Many forum members swore that it would never sell and that the brand was dead.
I believe a handful even committed suicide.

A lot of things that they used to have to go out in public to validate are probably done behind a tall fence, indoors, or even in simulation now.
And I bet they're just not giving the press any images yet. They know automotive news breaks online now, so they don't have to release anything until the day of the Detroit unveiling.
Plus there's no big Super Bowl ad to shoot, so Corvette doesn't have to be out on public streets yet. That's a big one.

It is pretty impressive.
... I assume there were some very potent threats given out to potential leakers when they signed their NDAs, heh. Plus, I bet there have been very few chances for any to even take uncamo'd pictures. I bet just about every proto they've made is camo'd IMMEDIATELY.
