Posted on the corvette website, is this some sort of testing device? Thoughts?
Not meant to be any sort of speculation, just thoughts on what's goin on.

It's a picture of nothing, just like the one13thirteen site is nothing.
It's all hype that's intended to stir interest in the new 2014 Corvmero and keep us all posting, liking, downloading, and updating forums posts, just to keep the hype and interest alive.
I guess I fell right into that trap myself...HAHAH

it is a fixture to hold body parts for spot/arc welding, drilling, or sealant application. The cylinder looking things on the lower left/right corner are hydraulic counterbalances for what appears to be some fanuc robots. I can't see enough of them to determine exactly which robot models they are. Top left corner is the 3rd axis of the robot, and you can see the axis 3 servo motor on the robot on the right hand side since its pointed in the opposite direction, and the servo motor only points out of 1 side of the robot. the 2 big cables you see hanging are to supply power/pneumatics/vacuum to the end effectors on the robots. I can't say for sure what kind of operations they plan on performing on the parts that are held in the fixture due to the absence of the workpeice, and the end effectors aren't in the picture. The fixture is empty, so no corvette parts are in the picture.
In other words, it's just a part fixture and a couple robots - no corvette parts.
