It will certainly cost more to repair. I think they were trying to compete with the Exotic market. There is no mention of a ZO or ZR type model.
This will be the end of an erra.
I think the C6's sitting on the lot will not see as big of discounts as we currently see. Get a Convertible 427 while they last. About one week.
Same with ZO's and ZR's.
Just my take.
how's that?

Not a big fan of the rear lights but the rest is awesome. The interior is really slick and it sounds as though they have improved virtually every aspect for the sports car enthusiast. I cannot wait to see one in person and to see the performance models along with road tests. Very exciting. To bad I am so old that I cannot see a good reason to buy one though. Getting to practical in my old age.

That car is BEAUTIFUL!! C6 owners don't be hating on it because you regret not waiting for this one. I have a c6 z06 as well and will be selling once I can order this car. You cannot compare the two (10 years of technology) Lets face it, C6 's are out dated and that is the new hotness!!

I fell in love at the first sight with the C6. C6 is the reason why i bought a corvette. It reminded me the MkIv supra only better. But the C7 isnt, i dont think ill ever sell the ZR1 for a C7 something

I think it looks great and I have nothing but incredulous scorn for the "It's not traditional" and "It looks like a Camaro" comments.

What a dramatic statement!

Its tough to tell from pictures but the hood to fender ridge line does recall the C3 a little, as they appear more exaggerated than C4-6 models. That's a good thing..... That is "Stingray" to me.

Not crazy about the Nissan GTR fender vents. Hopefully the other vents are at least functional.

The rear side view looks Ferrari, which is nice.

They missed the opportunity to incorporate round tail lights, here. Those are as iconic on vette as they are on Ferrari.

The way the C pillar is body colored and then turns black at the A pillar looks a little off to me.

Not a fan at all. Some of the lines are nice but, the rear is all wrong for a corvette. Not to mention it looks terrible in red with the black wheels.

After seeing the reveal and the pictures posted of the 2014 Corvette there's nothing about it that I don't like and I love it that the Stingray is back!!! Very Pleased!

I think they did a great job overall. I think the C6's are nice but dated. This new style is sweet!
The real truth will be known when we get the weight, HP, torque figures and track tests.
While the rear is kinda like a Camaro it's all again its own. I have always liked Corvettes, so I guess like I did when I pre-ordered the Camaro I will go crazy waiting for my new Vette.
Anyone know when the ordering will start?

Default C7 Intro.

Looks great to me. Lots of negative comments about look of rear end. Rearend looks much better than I was expecting and I bet everyone will come to love it. Might be interested in a C7 when I can buy one that out performs my ZR1 and I have made a few more payments...

I'll reserve condemning it entirely until I see one in person, but the exterior seems far too boy racer and not enough sophisticated sports car. The side windows and profile could easily be mistaken for a GTR, and the rear looks like a Camaro on steroids. Seems like the whole thing is just too busy, as opposed to the defined lines and elegance of the C5/C6

The interior is a big step up, with lots of gadgets. Hopefully they didn't dull the driving experience in favor of technology. That was my major gripe when I drove a GTR. It's fast as stink, but I felt disconnected from the car.

Default Too bad

I've put off buying a new car until the C-7 came out, but as much as I would have preferred to buy one, I guess I'll have to pass on this design.
