Reveal C7 RED according to the Detroit News
I just looked at the online Detroit News...here is what I found.....
General Motors Co. is putting the finishing touches on its North American International Auto Show display, which this year features two levels of cars, an oversized partial Hot Wheels track and, for the first time in Detroit, splits off the Cadillac brand from the rest of GM's stand.
Workers at Cobo Center on Saturday morning were busy completing the all-white Chevrolet stand with blue LED lights in preparation for Monday's press conference announcing the new Corvette. As part of that display, GM will have the first six generations of Corvette — in vintage white — plus the new C7, which will be in red.
The Corvette will be the main draw to the GM stand, but the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and GM Sierra pickup trucks will also be prominently displayed among 72 vehicles the public can peruse.
Away from the GM cluster — and among other luxury brands — is Cadillac, which will debut its range-extended plug-in hybrid ELR on Tuesday. That stand is black and white, with more LED lighting and features many sharp edges as Cadillacs typically do.
This will be the first time at the Detroit show that GM is breaking off Cadillac from the rest of its brands, something it generally does at other auto shows, especially overseas. But GM now believes Cadillac is a true competitor among the luxury elite.
GM's stand this year will feature a second level that will house global cars and have a Manchester United theme.
GM last year signed a sponsorship agreement with Barclays Premier League's Manchester United, a soccer team in England that has worldwide appeal.
The Detroit automaker will also have oversized partial Hot Wheels track, complete with a life-size Camaro. GM last year signed an agreement allowing Mattel Inc.'s Hot Wheels to make a miniature version of the car.

Red matches the building banner. Looks like silver for the magazines.

Interesting.
The red C7 should stand out next to all of the white Vettes. I'm sure that will become a very famous picture in Corvette history years from now.

I think Red is a great choice for the reveal color. The C7 will be Hot. I wonder if Torch Red. Actually, I would like a new Red. Thinking of going over to the Red side.

The Camaro will actually be available in a special blue Hot Wheels edition on LT or SS models. Includes Hot Wheels logo on the car. Kind of like the bumblebee Tranformers edition.

Considering the Ferrari-ish look the front and side renderings have to them.....I think red is appropriate
