You folks are getting way too worked-up on the posibility that the C7 will have "Camaro" tail lights.
Look ... they haven't even started building the C7 yet. This C7 intro on Sunday is nothing but a "mule" to test the acceptance level of the car.
If, for some strange reason, GM actually mounts those rectangular "Camaro" tail lights on this mule (and the public acceptance is negative) ... GM still has time to make a change to the rear facia and install round tail lights in it prior to production ... Simple change ... Nothin' to it
Nothing to worry about!

Doug ... That Bowling Green assembly plant hasn't even produced VIN # 00001 yet.

EDIT:
"The first Chevrolet Corvette C7 will roll off the company’s Bowling Green, Kentucky assembly line on June 30th, 2013 – 60 years to the day after the first Corvette was built. Or at least that’s what Reuters is reporting, based on supplier information.
While Reuters quotes “…two suppliers familiar with the automaker’s plans but are not authorized to speak on behalf of GM,” the official line from General Motors, according to Automotive News, is that production will begin in August or September of 2013. But a six-month retooling process is scheduled to begin in February, and the timing coincides perfectly with the June 30th anniversary".

Definitely a drawing/render. Probably a very accurate one. One does
Not typically try to make a photo look like a drawing. They try to
Make a drawing look like a photo. And very well these days.when they
Airbrush a models pic they make it look natural. These are definitely
Drawings. FWIW. The proportions make it look much better!
