C7 Dash layout
If Im not mistaken, isnt the C7 dash layout similar to a late C4 dash? The cockpit affect, with hopefully comparable sport seats.

Why not give it a C4 dash? They're puttin an LT1 in it...okay, maybe some won't find that humorous, sorry.
When I bought my '96, I could've gotten a C5 with a few more miles on it. Looking back, I would've chosen differently, maybe. I do like the LT4 though. But one of the things I really like about it, and settled my decision, is the interior. The 96 interior is definitely a cockpit, geared to the driver. I feel more like I'm wearing the car as opposed to sitting in it. Although, 150K miles later, it can use a little refurbish here and there.

I could have done exactly the same back in May, but everything about the '96 C4 spoke to me more, especially the interior and the LT4.
Hey look, a rhyme!

Not really, I don't think the actual dash will be much like the C4's at all.
You
might be right about the awesome,
cozy 'cockpit' feel though.

Let's hope not - the C4 was ugliest ever. But I don't like the rumor that the C& speedo is supposedly circa-80s LED looking...

Don't get me wrong, I love the clam-shell hood and other things about the C4. Just not the interior.

Best guess - it's a button.
What I don't see in that image is where the Starter button is. Maybe they went back to a key?

Reminds me more of an Audi R8 interior especially how the surround continues on Th.e drivers door.
BTW the C4 had amazing leather quality and the seats where awesome!

You must have had the one with the "Tokyo by Night" IP. My '93 looked a lot like the C7 approach. Wonderful. I hope the C7 seats are as nice as the C4 seats as well...
