When I bought my '96, I could've gotten a C5 with a few more miles on it. Looking back, I would've chosen differently, maybe. I do like the LT4 though. But one of the things I really like about it, and settled my decision, is the interior. The 96 interior is definitely a cockpit, geared to the driver. I feel more like I'm wearing the car as opposed to sitting in it. Although, 150K miles later, it can use a little refurbish here and there.

Not really, I don't think the actual dash will be much like the C4's at all.
You might be right about the awesome, cozy 'cockpit' feel though.

Reminds me more of an Audi R8 interior especially how the surround continues on Th.e drivers door.
