Age 21, I'd prefer the C6Z06 Centennial or ZR1 over the C7 any day of the week. However, I know through out time the C7 will win my heart with higher models that'll later arrive such as the Z06. This didn't give me the same "blown away" impression I received when the C6 or C5 first came out.

Watched the unveling with my wife last night.
I think overall the car is a hit with me.. I really like the front end and front lights. Im 39, and if I buy a C7 it would be my 3rd vette. (02 c5Z, 11-GS) I also like the fact that GM is going for refinement and efficiencey with the C7. Keeping the weight down is great! However, the rear end is definately going to take some getting used to.
When we watched it, My wife had a good reaction to the car, without any prompting from me. But then the car turned around on the tabel.. And she said.......
Wait for it.....
"The rear end doesnt look right for some reason.. Doesnt match the rest of the car" Wait, doesnt your car have round tailights? Ya, I
like those alot better.. Some things they just need to leave alone, so you can tell its a vette"
So there you have it, a completely unbiased, 38 year old female reaction to the unveling..
As I said though, I think the C-7 is a hit. Now lets get these cars available at a reasonable price within the next year or 2. NO GOUGING

Excellent idea/poll. I think its pretty easy to already see a trend forming where most people prefer the edgier C7, but it really hits home in the 20-40 age range. Which is exactly the market GM wants to get interested in this car.
People always want to talk about price, paying in cash, etc. When reality is many people in their 20s & 30s are driving $50-60k cars. It doesnt matter if they financing or leasing these vehicles, what does matter is that they are buying them. And this is the first Corvette to really try and reach out to that demographic.

C7, about time GM took the bull by the horns and added some ***** to the base Corvette looks. The base C6 and C5 were as bland as can be. That's why Ecklers, Caravaggio and all of the other body kit sellers made a fortune off of them.
Now it just better put down some good numbers!!!!

Comparing the base C6 to base C7 definitely C7. Now *** the C6 Z06 or ZR1 and the C6 definitely wins.
To be fair we need to compare apples to apples (base models). I never liked the C6 until the Z06/ZR1/GS came out.
Similarly I prefer the C5 Z06 over any C5.
To put it in perspective they go in this order. C6 ZR1, C6 Z06, C5 Z06, then C7. JMHO

41-C7. When I owned my c5 and the c6 came out, it never really struck me; until the c6z06 hit the streets. Regardless, I bought the coupe c6 until I could buy the z06, which I currently own. Not the case on this one...this car is absolutely awesome in many ways. I'm still keeping my 08Z and will wait for the c7z model to come out this time around; even then I will wait two or three years and buy me a nice used one.

23- I think the C7 looks more sophisticated than then C6 it has a lot of lines that don't jump out at you when you first look at it but the more you look the more you see, I for one like that. Plus Just look at those headlight! Best headlights I have seen on any car, looks pissed off.

32, C6, will reevaluate when I see in person this weekend but so far I prefer the looks of the C6. Have an '06 that I bought new, plan to replace in about a year, not sure if I like the C7 enough to buy one or not.
