I feel so alone...
...I must be the only person in C7G that is IN LOVE with the new rear end.
I like that it's new, edgy and aggressive and truly distict from most other cars. I feel it has done for the Corvette image what the C6Z06 did to the very Vanilla base coupe, make meaner and more aggressive - people will know it's a corvette.
I like it to the point where I'll be scraping my plans to pickup a used C6Z and keep waiting for a few more years.
But hey, we all know that saying about opinions...
What I'm am dissappointed about is the engineering guy that said the 450HP numbers are not final and when GM releases it on 1.13 people will be pleasantly suprised about the real numbers, so what are they? I still keep seeing the 450 number being thrown around as both est. and real.
It's been fun year following and lurking in C7G guys.
Now I can't wait for the mod threads and less camaro light threads.

You are not alone. I do think the spoiler looks very tacked on (but then, so does the one on the $120K ZR-1!) I also prefer the body-colored lower bumper.
My prediction is that in a couple years the rear will be viewed as the most uniquely Corvette part of the C7. There will be more lovers than haters as those who like it buy it. C8 renders will be hated by C7 buyers who will have turned into the "old f@rt" traditionalists they so mock today

I like the new tail lights way better than the round ones everyone is crying for. I'd do some small changes to the rear fascia around them, but other than that, I love the whole car.

Definately not alone! I love the new C7! There are those that can't afford one and will come up with any excuse to hate it. There are those that don't like change and there are those that tend to nit pick things to death.
The flip side are those of us who realize that this is a drastic change that addressed many of the complaints with the C6 such as the boring interior and flat like body design. I think GM outdid themselves. Not only is this car going to perform great and look very distinctive, but it will do so while being the most efficient Corvette ever and leave the door wide open for an INSANE Z06 and or ZR1 varient that will crush most of the competition and surely best ANY previous Z model Corvette. I think it can only get better and see nothing but an upside to the C7!
I absolutely LOVE my C6 Z06 but will love the C7 even more.. At least once I get one! That said, I will likely be waiting for the Z06 model but that could change once the C7 hits the dealerships.

I don't hate, hate it. It is gonna take some getting use to. I hated the C5 when it forst came out, thought the rearend looked like something that should have had a big sign (like a school bus) saying emergency exit on it. But it grew on me, bought one is 01.

I really like the overall design of the car, including the rear end, too. I am now finding myself in anticipation of what the "widebody" variant (Z06 and/or ZR1) will look like. Kudos to the designers, can't wait to see the car in person.

you're not alone at all . I have a C2 and a C5 , and I love the looks of the C7. Can't wait to see it in person ! I've been thinking about getting a C6 "427" anniversary but maybe a new C7 ???/

Personally I've my had fill of Corvette "Traditionalists" and all their tantrums about flip-up headlamps and round tail lights. Change is upon us and is ongoing whether "Traditionalists" like it or not. They can just get over it or go buy one of the old Jack *** carts GM called a Corvette in the 60s.
