Pulse width modulation of the LEDs in the taillights to alter brightness. The shutter of the TV camera plays interesting tricks with that kind of stuff.
It's kind of like how you see a car on a commercial and the wheels look like they're slowly spinning backward or how a CRT TV that isn't specially made for video/film production (or used with proper camera shutter speed settings) will flicker in a video.

I read somewhere that Matt Lauer farted into the seat so some of his DNA would remain with the first C7 forever. Or, at least until it gets reupholstered.

I also like this much better than the C6. I love the C6 wide body's but never liked the standard coupe. This C7 is already looking great. Cant wait to see them in the hands of members with some $$ to blow on mods. Bring on the C7Z's !!
