I'm glad it doesn't have round taillights or it would look just like my 56.

I had always been a coupe guy. Convertibles were for chicks. I want giant cams and loud exhaust with lite weight. Until........
A friend of mine picked me up to go to the Indycar race in New Hampshire. 70 year old guy, who had JUST finished doing a top end swap in his own garage on his brand new Mustang convertible. We drove with the top down on the windy roads in New Hampshire for hours that day, and it changed me for life. I *LIVE* for the sound of a bad *** V8, and with no top I could hear every sound......The smells, I just can't describe it. It was awesome. So, when I ordered my 95 Z28 6 speed, for the first time in my life I checked the box to make it a convertible. Just like my friend Andy, within weeks of taking delivery, I had the heads off the car to do a cam/head swap in my home garage. Back then it was fast as hell running a best of 11.88 on motor. And I ONLY put the top UP when it was raining or below 50 degrees. It was down year round here in Texas.
My Viper was different, I had to get the GTS when I bought it. RT/10 was not a real convertible, and the 03 and later Vipers were ugly as hell IMO. But, I tell you guys.....this new C7 convertible just hit that EMOTION in me again. WOW, I can imagine a day driving in that car with no top, pounding the gears....I hope to be as cool at 70 as my friend Andy was. And, still having as much fun.

im not a convertible, always had coupes. But the side window would "grow" on me, but after seeign the convertible renderings, top up and down I like it A LOT more than the coupe.
