It's all made for TV bullsh%&. A buddy of mine ran his car through the BJ block in AZ a few years ago, it was sold before it hit the stage! It was a primetime auction of a spectacular street rod that went for 320k, like I said it was all staged! Hendrick may be rich but he's not stupid!!!
On reason he is rich is that he is far from stupid. Wouldn't be surprised if the main competitors for these types of charity deals don't agree in advance to take turns getting the various offerings. Still a lot of fun, does a lot of good for the charities involved AND there is always the chance of some rogue billionaire altering everyone else's plans. What is there not to like?
If Rick would give over a million to any charity he might as well get something for it. I really only concern myself to my own income. I can not wish I had more but I am glad I do not have less. Save the wave
