Unless you've done 162 at Talledega, your opinions have no weight around here. I only own one Vette at a time, and maxed out merely in the 130's at Pocono. Clearly have yet to achieve sufficient credibility to comment.

To the folks who actually tried to answer the OP. Thanks. Interesting to speculate that some of the design team had some "learning experiences" before producing the stunning C7.

They said "please don't let that be the new corvette" .

The Jalpopnic renderings are dead on . I know I have spelled Jalponic wrong but you know what im referring to
What is the point of bringing up Jalopnik at this point? Lots of drawings don't represent the real deal well...most photos don't either. Most folks can't visualize what a real car will be like from images.

If they have changed their minds it is likely because they finally saw some real three-dimensionality to the car and that makes all the difference. Real lighting, real proportionality, real texture and shaping.

The point is the Jalponic was their first impression being their true impression of the C7.

there are no personal attacks. "quote" their exact words before you accuse someone of that.

The pics & renderings (although they could of been completely accurate) don't represent the car when using your own two eyes - looking directly at one.

One still might not like it in person though; but the car did present itself differently in person.

They pretty much nailed it, that is true. I didn't believe it until I saw the Omega Tool video of the nose and back end mold.

It should be a free open discussion with both sides being heard .

Stop censoring the negative posts.

They will die of natural causes . The car just came out , lets hear what they have to say .
I like to hear both sides .
as long as posts are civil then let people voice their dis/pleasure about the car. That being said I think in the next 2 yeas they will change the a$$ end of the C7 making the first two model years collectible.

I meant when people first saw the Jalponic renderings , there reaction to it was their true feelings about the c7.

Actually, the two cars do look (in photos) like they were designed by the same person. You can take that as a compliment or an insult.

But Peters was also a big part of the C6, a very different looking car.

No, it was their true feelings about a 2-D drawing. Way different than seeing a photo or the real deal.
