Comparing Interiors of marques
There has been a lot of negative comment regarding the new dash and console etc of the new C7 and with which I strongly disagree.
Take a look at these interiors of cars up to 5 times the price of the C7 and tell me where and which ones are as good or better than the new C7.
I will stick my neck out and say the C7 trumps the lot in style, layout and functionality and openness all wrapped up in such a fabulous cockpit design. I know where I would rather be especially given the pricing.

Very interesting comparison. I can honestly say I like the C7 best, although the center console needs a little more something.
The Vanquish is pretty cool.

Not for nothing, but you can't compare interiors by looking at them. You have to sit in them, feel them, and try them.
For example, there's no way its going to match the quality level in the Aston Martin. Its just not going to happen at that price and I don't expect them too. However, that doesn't mean they might not have made it very good. But until I see it in person there's no way I can judge it.

Vanquish wins, but for the money the C7 interior looks great. Leaps and bounds above any 'Vette interior before it.

It does work. You might need to login to photobucket first. I just checked the link and it still works but I also noticed that I was logged in.
That said, my favorites in order based on aesthetics and ergonomics would be:
Aventador
Vanquish
I like the 458 but don't like the disconnect between the console and the dash so drop that one down a ways.
C7 followed by Jag F Type.
I guess that puts the C7 at 3 or 4 if I count the Ferrari 458.
While I can't compare materials, the sheer fact that we can actually compare the C7 to any one of these cars is a good thing. Yea, it might not have the fit and finish of a car costing 2-5 times the C7's cost, but that's ok. It certainly can't be ruled out as a very nice interior with some amazing upgrades over previous Corvette generations. Fact is that we could never really compare a Corvette interior to those Exotics mentioned above at least not for a very long time. It's refreshing to be able to have this conversation and more refreshing that there is actually some merit to it.

It's working now...
I spent about an hour of seat time in a brand new Lambo a few years ago and while the interior was great to look at, there is no way I could sit in it for more than an hour or two at most. It's also a giant PITA to get in and out of.

Quite a few negatives on this thread I thought but may be a difference in our perception.
World Class Interior ? Your thoughts.

Aston Martin's interiors (and exteriors) are orgasmic!
The new Lambo interior is on the same line to me.
The Ferrari and Jag interiors are almost on the same line too!
The Audi uses high quality materials, but very boring looking.
That Mercedes interior is UGLY.
Porsche interior (and exterior) does nothing for me.
Finally I just don't get Maserati's. Both its exterior and interior don't give me that sexy Italian and exotic feeling. The C7 looks twice as expensive I think.
All said, the C7's interior looks just in place with the others. I would say it's #2-4 behind Aston Martin and Lambo...........

The vette is a combo C4 on left and C5 on passenger side. They should have gone
a difference direction than a C4. If they would have gone back to a C3 stingray
interior style. The C4 gimmick digital dash was a flop will this one be too.
Compare the vette to cars in its price class not the euro's. Its a chevy not a hand
built exotic or top quality British/ German

I kinda wish they had a "sport" steering wheel hehe
Any speculation on the 1LT 2LT 3LT 4LT interiors? Mmmm 4LT in the C7 will be sooo sexy
The carbon fiber in the base coupe interior is real right?

the carbon is optional for 2LT and 3LT only and yes its real. It looks like from some of the close up hi res pics they are using the good prepreg dry carbon

I'm surprised after viewing all those interiors that the carbon fiber optioned C7 interior is my favorite. But that Aston Martin interior may beat it out if sitting in one includes introducing that feel factor as well.
With the various colors and their optioned placements along with carbon fiber also as a choice, the C7 has a nice pallet to individualize your C7. Good job GM.

Just by design the C7 is one of the better looks, however I would think that in terms of the quality of materials used, the C7 would be towards the bottom. You get what you pay for, and I think the C6 interior would be towards the bottom in all regards.
IMHO the Aston Martin has the best overall interior look, and I am sure the materials used are top shelf and should be for 190K or so if it is the DB9-my dream car BTW.
