That tells me GM should've released the 427 vert (19% of total sales) several years ago. I would've bought one had they not waited until the last year of the C6. Hopefully GM will handle the new model releases better with the C7, but I'm not that optimistic.

This tells me Corvette buyers still love big engines.: 22% had 7L engines.

Considering my local dealer has 12 brand new 2012's sitting there, plus 2013's, I'd say there are plenty. The smart dealers are not moving the 2013's all that quickly because they know they can sell them for more when the C7 comes out. You can either wait to pay full sticker (or more) on a C7 or we can give you 5k off of this C6 and you can have it right now!

Wrong and wrong. You can get 13,000 off a 2013. And when you see the C7 next to a 2013 C6, you will NOT want the C6!

Actually, you could get a 427 vert for at least $17k off right now.

The belly of the curve rests with the grand sport coupe and surprisingly with the more expensive and very powerful 427 convertible.

Sounds familiar to the c7 production model ....give or take a few ponies. Torque wise the c7 LT1 mimics the 427 engine. Should deliver a very 427 acceleration like experience.

Gm testing their new cars performance in the marketplace during the last year of c6 production sound about right?

Thanks JoeC5
