Now...the C7 I love....and will be going at it asap....but I find there is a little bit of false advertising going around....Jay Leno Garage has the nice executive stating that the machine in that video with the Black rims, and handsome whale tails was STOCK!!!!
Yet, another guy on Youtube ( young guy who needs Valium LOL) films 3 C7 pulling into a parking lot....Black, Blue and Red.....the first 2 were as we have been seeing all over the place...Stingray....and the red one was crappy tired looking 5 sloked C6 like rims and NO Whale Tail......so, are we seeing a suped up z51 in all these pictures and the base is downgraded?
I believe the base C7 has the 19"/18" single-spoke silver wheels like the red one in the video, and all double-spoke wheels that are 20"/19" can only be obtained with the Z51 package.

I'd be willing to bet the car we've seen all over the country (the red reveal car) will be more inline pricewise with an optioned out C6 Grand Sport.

I just picked up the issues of Motortrend and Automobile. Good initial write ups.

It's definitely not gloss black, and maybe it is camera angle/light contrast, but it doesn't look to match the body color exactly. Either way, I like it.

I thought it was plain that it was painted carbon flash metallic, not cyber gray. In some lights they look similar, but they are not identical.
