This topic is always VERY devisive because some people seem incapable of accepting other people's choices. Those folks are ridiculously egocentric.

I do hope they address the paddle shift issues from the A6, among others.

It would be very sad to the have the same-old, same-old resurface in this declared built from the bottom up totaly redesigned car to retain legacy issues.

If it's an auto, then you need to wait for 2015.

Worst I have ever experienced (and I've been to LA a lot) was Vancouver this past summer. In EVERY DIRECTION during rush hour was total gridlock

honestly if you can drive a stick decent or good, traffic should never be a problem, unless its an incline. I always find it funny when people complain about ooohh a stick in traffic sucks, Learn how to drive better. Unless you have a huge cam you can practically ease off the clutch with no throttle and the car will move and your off. Maybe i'm the only one that does that but i don't sit there and rev my RPMS every time i need to move 1 foot.

Now driving with a big cam on a 111LSA at an idle of 850rpms that is not easy and is very annoying, but most people never even go past a cat-back.

If you have to sit in traffic everyday then i can agree a manual would be annoying after some time, but only once or twice a week, i'll live with it. So for my answer haha i choose MANUAL, until they come out with a true DCT and even then i'm not sure.

No one said it is hard. It is TIRING to push the clutch in and out 100 times to go 1 mile in 15 minutes. Have you ever driven in Los Angeles I-10 rush hour traffic going west in the morning or east in the afternoon?

Hopefully neither. I'm hoping they have a DCT by the 2nd year.

Personal choice for me at this time: Manual 7.
However, I do understand the advantages of auto.

Just put 4:10 gears in it; then put it in econ mode and lug along the highway at 3 mph on only 4 cylinders.

Funny, The manuals are at 58% as I write this and the autos are at 35% yet every year the autos outsell the manuals by an almost 2 to 1 margin.
