Default Staying Stock or Modding?

Just another poll/thread to pass the time and the excruciating wait for the C7. How many of you are planning on modifying your C7? If so, what are you planning on doing? What are you power goals and how do you plan on driving your C7? Are you gonna track it, drive it every day, only on the week ends or is it gonna become a "garage queen"?

I plan on driving mine whenever the weather is nice. Probably will bring it to the drag strip for some fun, and IF I decide to modify the car, it will be strictly bolt-ons, nothing more.

I'll be putting some HRE wheels on the car but that's likely it.

The car will be a daily driver from May until October... day, night, rain, shine. It will also will see 10-15 track days a season.

Cosmetically, I'll probably be keeping mine the stock looking with MAYBE the exception of tints and blacking out that chrome strip that goes across the front grille.

I may put a super charger on mine. I live in Denver and I really don't want the HP drop. I'll drive it every other day or so in season, track it 5 times a year.

You guys are about a mile above sea level over there. There's the one good thing about Long Island, New York. Right at sea level

I can't imagine what mod I would do to a C7. I might paint the wheels Competition Gray. Other than that I will probably leave mine alone.

The way the post questions are phrased, I believe the OP is discussing performance mods. We all add floor mats, many of us change wheels, etc.

I will not do any performance mods. Appearance mods? Not sure, but probably none.

Yep, the poll implies performance mods, not cosmetics. I'm holding out for the Z which will get headers for certain and depending on the stock rubber, tires. Other than that its hard to say with the lack of information now.

I don't do stock cars. It has to be modded if I own it

If I decide to go with a C7 It will definitely be modded with boltons initially.

I'll keep it pretty much stock....maybe a few basic mods if at all.

The cars are well designed to begin with. I modded my 500 hp c5z06 and after 60k miles it was tough to keep running right ..

My c6 z51 is basically stock with a few minor mods and it's been trouble free... More fun to own and use everyday.

I'd do the same with a c7 z51 with MRC and competition seats when I buy.

This is exactly why I don't want to modify the car or keep it to an absolute minimum. That is also the reason why I wish I could just afford the high performance C7 when it comes out. It should be fast enough for me just the way it is Who knows, maybe I will be able to. It really depends on the dealers and if they are willing to take as much off as they were doing with the C6 Z06's the last several years

W/Z51, F55, NPP and Michelins as available OEM, how much modding is needed for a street car?
