If I place an order this Friday, I have to decide on a color which I am having trouble doing, if I change my mind as to color, can you modify it without losing your place in line so to speak? Or once you place it as a sold order, are you unable to modify it THANK YOU for the correct answer

There's your answer... you should also consider your interior color options if you change colors depending on what you change. I'm not buying a base C7, but in the past when I ordered a new Corvette making paint choices and complimenting interior choices were easily the hardest decisions I had to make. Good luck!
Ordering early without being able to see the new color choices in person is going to make it even harder....

You can wait for them to chime in if you want, but the answer is if you place an order this week you can still change the color without losing your place in line. Your order only has to be locked down by the week GM actually gives the dealer allocation for the car for your place in line.
Which won't start till late in May so you've got plenty of time.
