If someone feels like they "need" a Chevrolet Corvette C7 that bad, i say let'em have at it. I could care less what anyone pays for anything...

Its just like ANY hot new product, there are people out there that are willing and more than happy to bend over and take it just so they can be the first ones to run out the door and say "i got it"... Yep, you really got it all right.

Key word KC. You CAN'T find numbers like that in SoCa. I have a base C6 2LT and paid $55k last month. GS is $68k and Z06 was $85k ZR1 was $124k. And thats what they are selling them at. Only the $2k discount from GM is what 6 dealers I went to all were the same price.

Don't blame the dealers for asking for it, blame the people who pay for it. The only way they will keep doing that sort of thing is if someone falls for it.

When I was looking at a used c6 in San Diego last month the sales manager offered me a new 1lt for 37.5 so at least down here they are available cheap for base c6. It's still much more then I can afford now.

Didn't try to sell you that ZR1 or a 427. A young man that was full S--- when I was
there. Was going on how you can have your C7 motor custom built to you own specs.
That the Coupe and Vert were coming out at the same time because gm wants to get
these cars out to the public ASAP. ?? they use to support a club, if still do....

Told no I would not be interested in any C6 configuration since have one and they
all look alike to me. If get a new vette will not be till 2015, seeing how the 14 launch
goes. I may have gotten my car there but do not recommend for sales or service.

Well for $11k savings I'd just ship it.

There are some very nice cars at the $100K price level that are much nicer than a C7.

Since not a single production C7 has yet to turn a wheel on the ground, what is you basis for "much nicer"?

I saw it at the reveal. Nice. But no way would I pay $100K for it. The point I was trying to make is that its just a car. It is not a limited edition exotic worth anything over MSRP.

My local dealership is just as useless. They believe the people who walk onto their lot are either ignorant or desperate.
It's the information age people. Only a fool would over pay.

Don't forget that a new C7 will bring people like me to the lot to look at a C7, then they walk me out to a black on black Z06 and take me for a test drive..... SOLD.... I just got a killer Z06 at a low ball number I am happy and they are happy. wash;rinse;repeat,wash;rinse;repeat..... O wow we just sold 4 C6's today great job team.

They hold the C7 to bring people into the show room. Just order one the way you want and pick it up in BG.
