With nothing on it, 60K for a dead fish
What's GM's problem with not releasing info - very poor marketing! I already hate their attitude, hate the quality of service at 99% of the dealers in my area, hate to Bozo's that sell them and can only hope it doesn't get to the car itself

Why did they release the car with no info. Is it just a gimmick to build anticipation for what I don't know because the most important part was already done, the car itself. Someone with knowledge of marketing explain this to me because I for one don't have a clue.

Actually, the dead fish is the one in your avatar since they're done making it now. I suppose you hate that too...
Maybe they will make the ZR1 again someday.
I've also certainly complained about their marketing in the past but considering when it will come out for sale, they seem to be holding off on final info for a reason and I am guessing it is to keep the competition guessing as long as they can. We may not like that but it is a tactic that can have it's benefits.

Personnally I don't think the Corvette really has any competition 4 the $ or the performance, unless you buy the base model

Not saying that the guy knew what he was talking about but he did say STARTING at $60k. Therefore it is irrelevant whether the model shown had competition seats or not.

"In honor of jpee"
As to Corvette not having any competition "unless you buy the base model," I gotta like the base model because I own it! And I'm ok with it since no one else in my mind is quicker or faster.:

Used to be Regis and Cathy lee,
Then it became Regis and Kelley..
Now it's Kelly and micheal except Kelly was on vacation so it was some other blonde hottie..
My wife taped it because she liked the new jaguar f type....
I have to say the jaguar in red looked hot.
She wanted me to buy it to replace my vette...
I just laughed and told her to keep here CTS AWD and buy the convertible red jag for herself..
69 to 92 grand for the 340 hp jaguar f type ( starting price)makes you wonder how chevy brings out the new LT1 for 60?
