Yea, I don't really watch it it!! When my morning news goes off then Kelly comes on! I usually mute the Tv & turn on my stereo while I use PC!
I came into living room & show was going off & I see them in some kind of contv, rewind DVR & sure enough Vette!! So I rewind more & find the revealing of it on the show!!

So, if the tv one had been/was a base model, it could be at least $3K-$4K more than a '13 base model convertible, right? And if it is a Z51 equipped car, it could be maybe a couple to three thousand over a base convertible '13.

Everything about price is just people guessing at this point. My guess is that C7 will go up about $3000.00 (on base MSRP) across the board vs 2013 pricing. All options will also increase about 15-20%. Then watch out for another $1500.00 price hike in January just prior to the Convertible release and still another in May of 2014. Like the Sun rises and falls GM has a formula when pricing new generation Corvettes. They always bring the opening price as close to the out going generation price at launch as possible but QUICKLY bump bump bump it up the first year with increases. The 2015s will get around another $2K bump and this will be where GM will keep the car for awhile making only slight upward adjustments the rest of 2015.

Also had the new Camaro on there and it used the same hood vent and the back side windows are longer now but the thing that got me was they said it was 427 hp. So the new camaro inst using the same new engine as the vette?
I was watching cuz wife was watching and Im on leave so I had to watch too. lol.
If vert price is right then coupe will be 56K.

Why do you say that? Is there only one gray one? As to pricing, I'd bet a base model could be less than the quoted '13 GS model. After all, convertibles were made in base models, too, even in '13.

I would certainly expect a base C7 convertible WOULD be less than the '13 GS vert.

With nothing on it, 60K for a dead fish
What's GM's problem with not releasing info - very poor marketing! I already hate their attitude, hate the quality of service at 99% of the dealers in my area, hate to Bozo's that sell them and can only hope it doesn't get to the car itself

Maybe they will make the ZR1 again someday.
I've also certainly complained about their marketing in the past but considering when it will come out for sale, they seem to be holding off on final info for a reason and I am guessing it is to keep the competition guessing as long as they can. We may not like that but it is a tactic that can have it's benefits.
