Default friend wants a C7 2014 coupe..

he would like to put down a deposit this week..

which sponsor dealers have the earliest delivery slot open ?

i understand that Chevrolet hasn't released production info yet but we are trying to get an honest, realistic and rough idea of the when.

in terms of delivery time, are we better off ordering from a small corvette dealer and have their #3 slot or a large corvette dealer and have slot #50?

thanks in advance for any help provided..

No question you're better off at the larger dealers who have more clout IMO. My local dealer was and is still clueless.

There are several and I'm sure others will have recommendations. I chose Mike Furman. He got back to me in 5 minutes while others took days. I put a deposit down over the phone just a few minutes later.

It great how we all support our dealer. That goes to show you buying a Corvette is more then buying a car..

I had a very similiar experience. Mike got back to me quickly and continues to do so when I have questions. Within about 15 minutes I put my deposit down and the wait began. I'd recommend him for sure.

JR. The slot the dealer has, has very little to do with how fast you can get your car. The dealer needs to have allocation for that many cars. When the factory accepts orders, that's when you get put in the build cycle. So the size of the dealership, could have some pull as to when the car gets built.

I would go with a forum dealer! IMO, MacMulkin (Tommy Jr.) Other Forum dealers are also very good. Just look them up.

hey Speed,

i agree and believe that it is ALL about allocation. in this case, size DOES matter.

it would be nice if a chevy or GM guy could weigh in on this an clarify for us.

thanks for the replies guys.
