Default Visual differences between the base and Z51 model

Other than the wheels and the rear spoiler, what, if any, are the visual differences between the base and Z51 model?

Trying to decide which one to order.

I like the look of the Z51 wheels and rear spoiler, but don’t need the harsher ride (I’m guessing) that the bigger rims will provide.

Get the magnetic shocks and the harsher ride is no longer an issue. Puts up better handling at the same time.

Not bad for $1700.

To answer your question, there are no visual differences between the Stingray and the Stingray with Z51 other than larger brake rotors, larger wheels and tires, different wheels and the rear spoiler. The Z51 rear spoiler will become available as a stand alone option so some with the non-Z51 Stingray will have the Z51 spoiler.

The Z51 is going to ride a little more harsh than the base. Between the different shock package and the larger wheel/tire combo it will have an impact. As noted, the MSRC suspension will go a long way toward taking care of that.

Good catch. I forgot about the caliper color.

One thing is for certain: If you see a Torch Red C7 coupe with Paul driving or a Laguna Blue one with me driving, it will definitely be a Z51!

After seeing the coupe in person at the museum two weeks ago (along with you), it became a no brainer, Bill.

No, it's actually just light reflection from the slight angle I was at.

My dealer told me the non-Z51 doesn't have the stingray emblem on the side.

Probably not true.

Another clueless salesperson. Far too many salespeople that know virtually nothing about what they sell. Stick with our very knowledgeable forum dealers/salespeople.

To me the Z51 with MRC is a must have option without question.

The Z51 tires along with being larger are also different. More of a summer only/Track tire.

Larger? They are both 285s in the rear.
