Default What will be the first C7 recall?

Something electronic...I'll go with either the navi unit or something in the gauge cluster.

Come on SCM, do we really think that there won't be a recall? Heck the C6's are out for nine years and they have recalls. With all the newly implemented electronics, cylinder management, DI, AFM and every other part except for the two they carried over from the C6 there is bound to be some recalls. It's not negativity, it's reality. This topic has way more value than some of the ridiculous threads that have been posted, it is relevant to the brand new product reliability which also has a direct connection with the vendors GM uses, in other words that they don't skimp to save money!

Let me add that there is no reason to automatically put on the boxing gloves, if anyone thinks the new car won't have recalls they are delusional. Maybe the discussion can contain what may be some of the possible problematic new mechanisms in the car!

this is not a useless thread, its reality. Take off your rose colored
glasses and have an alternate ride from the dealership. Or go home
in a chevy cobalt loaner

Failure of the seat-to-steering-wheel coupling.

How about recalling the new Viper when the standard Z51 gets perilously close to beating the Viper around the track.

I'll tell ya': I like Vipers. But I gotta say, when I saw the new Vipers quite a bit ago, I could not tell the difference from some recent prior cars. Now that, to me, is taking "continuity" a bit far. btw, how much do those cars weigh? they look heavy.

Unreal - You and your 4 debbie downer friends must wake up and say "Hmm What else could I try to stir up ttoday". The post would be a legit post if it was from someone that we took seriously.

Hang it up.

Back space a few times and enter C6 forums with your old friends. Old as in previous.

Have a good Day Dan. I feel for you man. You are obvioulsy destroyed by this C7. GL sir.

Recalls are always a possibility but speculating on what would cause it is pointless. I have followed a substantial number of car and motorcycle forums and I don't recall a single thread on any of them asking which system would cause the first recall.

There are many common questions but most of the unique ones are the really stupid ones. Congratulations on coming up with one of the dumbest questions ever!

BMAC what does your following of other forums have to do with anything? You and all the others who have no ability to converse can simply not respond, that isn't so hard now is it?

The first recall won't be from chevrolet, it will be from corvetteforum.com, recalling threads and members of the forum that continuously troll. Seen it happen recently, hope it continues.

Let's talk about what we know. This forum is most helpful to disseminate information as it becomes available.

The threads like this one that have no basis in reality are meaningless. No one can possibly have any real informed opinion on what could cause a recall at this point. Perhaps, when the car is finally released and owners report on actual experience (and a real problem) would this discussion have any merit at all.

No, the Viper is actually a very nice car. Just a joke to yank your chain. Some of you guys just have to climb out of your cesspool of negativity.

I like the Viper's colors. It does look shiny when new and most keep it that way. Can't argue with their stripes, either.
