They should offer either the car in that color or an option that paints all the carbon flash parts the car color, ideally both.

Only reason I would take the car in NRB is that it blends those parts better.

Any darker color helps to hide this curious application of dark trim. A beautiful car like corvette with a big black spot on the hood, reminds me of getting dressed for the prom and having a big pimple on your face my C7 will go directly to the body shop for color match.

I believe the Blade Silver will look pretty good with all the carbon flash including the mirrors and spoiler.

I'm not digging the flash carbon look on the spoiler. As mentioned already, the spoiler does look like an add-on already. Making it stand out more dosen't make sense. Making it body color makes it look more "purposeful".

The black mirrors also doesn't make sense to me. I love the color of the car I'm driving. Sometimes I like to look at the mirror right there on my door and just admire the color for a second. There's a feeling I get that I can't really describe when when I look at the driver's side mirror while driving. It's the shape and color that reminds me what a fantastic car I'm driving. I just can't explain it.

Well Ferrari and lambs have done it, currently and in the past
Secondly there have been several innovations that Ferrari has copied from corvette. I have both American and Italian vehicles and each have their areas where they excel at. So Corvette should not limit itself to what European cars may are may not be doing.

Default I think it looks great

To each his own, I think it looks great on certain color combos, like the crystal red and with the white...

I'm thinking of doing the CFM front splitter on my NRB C6 GS. Any thoughts??

Depending on the color of the car, the carbon flash spoiler and mirrors can look very good. JMO.

On cheap cars the mirrors often are unpainted black plastic, thus this impression.

BTW, I think that black for spoilers started decades ago when Germany required that spoilers on street 911s have some flex to them to avoid injuries to cyclists who ran into them, and so the spoilers were at least partly black rubber.

I'm more a fan of color matched mirrors and spoilers; as I will never drive my C7 on a track I've got just the tiny spoiler that comes standard, which actually gets me better mpg and top speed than track-oriented C7s.

But no one (I hope) will throw stones at you whatever you choose.

I think the black accents on the Red look very nice! I have the carbon flash spoiler on my Sebring Orange Grand Sport and the same as on the red I think the black accent looks nice! It's a matter of taste and the color scheme. I do not have the carbon flash mirrors and wish I did.

Default 2014 w/ CFM spoiler and splitter

I have the CFM spoiler and splitter. Soon side panels (running boards) as well. At let with Cyber Grey Metallic, I think it looks great. I don’t think I would want to do the mirrors though.
