Anyone aware of dealers near Detroit making deals below MSRP?
I know I can take advantage of out of town deals described on the forum...just wondering if any dealers local to Detroit area are offering similar transactions? Stanford, Liberty, Champion, etc?

They submitted their first 20 orders when the books opened. Not quoting first delivery windows except "likely early Fall". Place a deposit today and expect delivery after the first of the year.
No, I was not one of the first 20.

Liberty and Champion do not have an allocation for the first run of 6-9 months. Stanford has 200 allocations, with 130 deposits. They are at MSRP plus $200 doc fees.

Harlan Charles, one of the key design guys from the Corvette program had been in the day before with his Laguna Blue C7 mule. This salesman had taken some great photographs and had them on display in his office.
I believe I got the straight scoop. No hype, no wild promises and no sales pressure. He gave me all the time I wanted. Note: No sales brochures available yet.
PM me and I'll give you his name and contact info.

He didn't say they got 20 accepted, he said they submitted their first 20 orders. Big difference. 20 allocations for the first go around, or 200 allocations for the first 6-9 months never happened.

Thanks for the clarification. Although if their initial allocation was 200 you would expect them to get 22-33 per month accepted, so 6 does seem a little low.

I really do not think it is a linear projection, to start with all dealers got one this first go round, some which might not get one every two months, next they hand out allocations based on production levels. I would think the production level for these two months will be much lower than a few months down the road. You are basing your expectations on simple math when there are many factors. Your dealer might get 6 now but down the road get 40 per month, also the standard consensus cycle is two weeks so monthly projections are split over each consensus cycle, however, the next consensus is not scheduled till July.
