What are you selling to build up your C7 fund?

Will sell my '90 yellow Festival Car (this will hurt). Selling a 1000 car collection of diecast Corvettes (mostly 1/64); already promised my coin collection to my grandson; wife put her jewelry in her safe and hid the combination.

Selling my soul.
On a serious note.....Notice how many C6s are being traded in for a C7. That right there is going to drive the value of the C6 down quickly because of the glut of them suddenly on the market. Time for guys like me to swoop in and pick up that low miles perfect Z06 or ZR1 for an incredible price. (insert evil laugh here).

Burning Brakes
I hear ya but went the other approach. Took the wife to Italy for two weeks last month and bought her some gold. She wanted a glass piece at Murano for 4200 Euros (about the diff between 2LT and 3LT) but I convinced her that it would be broken by grandkids.

....assuming you need one... The coolest thing about getting a C7 is it has given me the motivation to sell off other things and build up the biggest down payment I can muster.
First off, is lots of C5 parts I've been storing as replacements or backups ...I also plan to de-mod the C5 of headers, Corsas, coilovers, ACA HID lights, Forgestar wheels, C6 Z06 calipers, etc..etc..
Second, I have a large guitar collection that needs thrifting...examples a pair of BB Kiing Lucilles, signed by him for me backstage at a couple concerts in the 90s.
Third, it's time to let go of my stamp and coin collections from my younger days decades ago...
Fourth, any other stuff laying around that I can ebay .
We've been needing to downsize for the next move, so this is going to work out great with a new Corvette in the garage to boot!

Safety Car
Nah man I'm done. Atleast with the speed on two wheels. If I get another motorcycle it will either be a dual sport/supermotard or a cruiser with lots of chrome. Strangely enough when I bought my C6 over 2 years ago, the entire reasoning was replace the R1 and amount of hoonage I used to do on it. Like you I rode my R1 on the track. But it simply became too expensive & tiring to do so. Loading up the trailer, driving 100's of miles by myself, riding/racing all weekend, hoping not to crash, spending big money on tires and then packing up the trailer and driving 100's of miles back home.
So I sold both of my trailers, sold one of my bikes, (planned to sell this R1) and said I'll get a C6. It was alot more practical & safe decision than continuing to hoon around on a literbike. I figured I could put sticky street rubber on the C6 and enjoy it for daily driving, highway commutes, weekend driving on curvy backroads, local autocross events and some HPDE stuff. I'd be able to enjoy the car 100x more than I could enjoy the bike. Spend less money doing so, not exhaust myself as much and not have to worry about hurting myself.. like when riding the bike.
Fast forward to now.. and the bike has been sitting gathering dust for the past 3 years. Last time I rode it was a weekend track event sponsored by NESBA at Summit Main raceway in WV. That was 4th of July weekend back in 2010. Keeping her around any longer, would simply be wasting a great experience that someone else could enjoy. Will be selling the R1 sometime this summer. I know this is a C7 thread.. and I will eventually own a C7.. but we are all gear nuts and I hope you guys dont mind me sharing a few old pics:
Here is how she looks in race trim with me racing a WERA event (switched over to cheap black plastics made for crashing, passenger pegs & license plate removed)

Ohlins and Akrapovic.... oooooooohhhhhhh!
I hear ya, it was getting to the point where it wasn't fun for me anymore either. I still miss it, but the drive to go to the track just wasn't there. I last raced (CCS) back in 2008 at Road America. I remember thinking about my children while on the track, which I had never done before (it was all about the next corner). I decided right then and there to quit.
