IMHO, it's not abuse, and I never intended to abuse a forum sponsor. It was just a question. I'm interested in purchasing a C7, not another C6 (I've owned 2), so I would prefer to see info about the Stingray here. Funny, a similar comment from a "senior member" about moving the conversation string to the C6 area didn't generate a "rude" reply . . . just saying. . .

Let's see.....there is a specific Dealers C6 sales section, there is C6 general........so why is a totally off topic thread started up in the C7 section????

As others have said, I've also owned 2 C6's and have no desire to ever buy another C6 again given what the C7 is offering....you couldn't discount a C6 enough to make it a consideration....tons of used C6's around and tons more about to hit the used market, this is the worst time to buy a new C6.

Maybe yes maybe no. This is not an exclusive C6 tread as you can see.

Guys, Forum policy allows/encourages supporting vendors to post in ANY section they wish to. It is what it is...learn to accept it....it ain't such a big deal as to require complaining about it.

What do you think??
I use a lease calculator with the following numbers.
Hope GM will offer something close to it.

C7 Stingray Z51/2LT with some options at $66870.00
Down payment of $6870.00 36 months 10K a year, at 1.9%, with a residual value of $41067.00

Monthly payments of $606.50

I think the above residual is real for the new C7 so hoping for something close to this.

Last edited by St!ngray; 06-25-2013 at 06:01 PM. Reason: Upgraded the MSRP dollar value to the correct $$ number.

I'm a Stanford fan, as I bought my ZR from Scott. Excellent experience.

This more legit for the C7 forum than much of the junk that gets posted here now. The mods have totally let this section get out of hand. I bet a third of what gets posted here is bogus.

I couldn't disagree more now is the perfect time to buy a C6 if you want bang for your buck it kills the C7

You can't even buy a used 1-2 year old C6 for what a new one can be had for, so it is a great time to buy if you don't want to take it in the shorts for sticker on a C7

Who wants a "new" C6....it hasn't received an update since 2008......that's 5 years, on the other hand a buyer can opt for a new C7 which is a new generation with new interior, faster, better performing starting at 52k.

That's a load of

In 2009 we got a ZR1
In 2010 we got a Grand Sport
In 2012 we got new seats
In 2013 we got a new 427 convertible

Nothing against the C7 at all, just saying...

That's a dam tempting and extremely affordable lease deal.

I would spread the word for some who are digging my c6 to. Get but without knowing what the cost was to non corvette owners I hesitated....

Thanks for sharing this amazing deal,

Well, he did make another post about the huge allocation of C7's he has and that he has plenty of them to sell. From his posts, doesn't sound like a shortage of C7's, so if you don't want to buy one of the left over C6's he's selling, he will sell you a C7.

In 2012 they were the #5 corvette dealer with 160 corvettes sold that year. I would guess that his first round allocation of C7's would be somewhere around 150, or there abouts for the first 6 months of production.

Yea. I want a C7, but a little spooked on what it will lease for. I have a deposit down with a Northern CA dealership, I hope they don't rake me over the coals on the lease. A purchase is out of the question, there's no way I can make that payment, I'll just have to drive my 225000 mile full size Blazer until then, meaning till its over.

I am currently tinkering with the idea of getting a left over C6 (found this thread from searching Les's post history). Some of us don't have to have the "next best thing", a brand new C6 will suffice and be a step up from my 115k '99 FRC.

Hey hey there is nothing wrong with a 99 FRC I love mine and would never get rid of it. I'll just have to add on the collection
