I hear ya...
I'm more interested in the headroom for the convertible though.
Most convertibles I've encountered have a bar running right where a tall persons head would normally contact the inside of the top... the C6 does not, it is unique that way.
I wonder if, and hope that the C7 has a similar setup on it's top. If not, I may end up with a coupe when I really want a vert. I can't stand getting my head whacked over every bump. Those nerves are long since dead, but still I might get a concussion or something! I'm 6'4" and long-waisted by the way.

The official dimensions say the C5 and C6 are very similar, but I can tell you that tall people have a much more difficult time getting in and out of our C6 compared to our C5. And their body is much more "folded" when sitting in our C6.

If you are running close to one of the measured dimensions you definitely want some seat time before you order. Fitting versus enjoying can be worlds apart.

I agree. I moved the seat all the way back and it seems there is not as much leg room as in my Z. Just looking in the window of the car, it definitely seems like a smaller cockpit. The center console is a bit larger/wider and the seats seem narrower, but it feels good! Granted, I'm only 5'9" / 165lbs.

I know what it says on paper but the C7 feels much smaller.
The passenger side is much tighter. I had the seat adjusted properly for me and I think on a hard bump I'd hit the roof with my head and I'm only 5'8".
To me it was the perfect size but I prefer a tighter feel.
My first thought was we have a friend who has a decent case of claustrophobia. I don't know if they would do well in the car with the roof on/windows up.

It is crazy some are saying less leg room and tight. Car looks huge, what am I missing?

You are SOOO biased Sam it is funny
The C6 looks much longer IMO ... larger overhang, a hood the seems longer. It may not be, in fact, larger but it sure looks like it. Watch the Jay Leno video, he made a similar comment about the perceived size. The actual measured size is almost the same.
It is always difficult to tell in pictures (given perspective and what a lens does) but here is one example... calling the C7 a Limo compared to the C6 is nuts

Cannot go by the pics. I was completely set on getting a C6 after the C7 reveal but after driving up behind a few of them near the Tech Center I changed my mind.
The car feel much smaller and more compact.
What ever the dimensions say the car feels smaller all the way around and looks smaller in person. I think part of it is the lack of the long snout like the C5 which was slightly trimmed in the C6 but is gone in the C7.

I am 6'5" and have a C6 convertible. I got a chance to sit in a C7 coupe this past weekend at VIR. After moving the seat back as far as it would go and reclining the back about as far as it would go I felt that I fit OK. Due to the differences in design, the C7 feels smaller. I am happy with the seat itself. It offers more support than the C6 seat.
