I see it as a huge yawn..unless you can get the 1 out of 500 that is automatic..
The C7 is a fabulous car , this edition not so much in my opinion.

Not one order has been fulfilled and they have yet to release many final specifications (like mileage ratings) and they're already making a 'Special Edition' complete with options that are already available on normal orders?!?!?!

The brainchild of this 'reveal' needs to be properly fired. Just straight up clean out your desk kinda FIRED...

I wonder where they are going to find 500 cars to make into this special edition. All I've heard for the past couple of months is that the dealers are sold out of their first allocations and you have to wait a year before you will get a new C7 if you place an order with your dealer today.

I don't get it. Will the first 500 cars produced be this car? Before any other customer orders? That is crazy if true and such a waste. Maybe they will be dealer demos!

I love the Stingray Premiere Edition. I would buy it. But, the "special" luggage does not match the Laguna Blue Tintcoat exterior or the Brownstone suede interior! So, forget it!

Well...

I was just over on the luggage enthusiast forums and they are all super excited. I guess we know what the new 'target demographic' includes, but it's unfortunately not about the actual car.

It's like a soft opening /grand opening.

Or, these cars are being built later to celebrate/commemorate the cars that are actually first

Their market research must be telling them great things about the demand for C7s (at least as far as the dealers) to peg this at 500 units, especially in a color that isn't red or black.

BTW, is this a substitute for the lack of an Indianapolis 500 Official Pace Car edition? Or is there an actual Pace Car package?

Not sure if serious, but matching luggage that doesn't match is an epic fail.

And I have to wonder if the luggage is even dimensionally made to fit the car....

QUICK! Anyone with an order not yet in 3000 status should change it to the "Premiere Edition." If you're really lucky you might get number 1 of 500. Then again, if you get the last one built this year, you may get number 10 of 500.

At least the color matched limited number plaque looks kinda nice.

No mention of the mag ride being included. You would think that if they are offering a special edition for the "over 100" club, they would want the softest suspension for their old butts and bones.

EDIT: I see the mag ride is included. If only I were 30 years older, I would grab one.
