Default C7 carbon fiber VS Audi RS6 Avant carbon fiber

I understand its real Carbon Fiber, why did GM use this, it looks cheap compared to the Audi's Carbon Fiber. Plus Audi's covers the center console area. I think they drop the ball on this.

I think that's a good thing for you.....Now you can make an easy decision to buy the Audi because their Carbon fibre appeals more to you...Now wasn't that easy? Cmon

so are you gonna get the new RS5 Audi? I just saw it on Motor Week. 450 hp or so, 317 lb. ft. torque V8. (Why so low on torque?)

4,000 lbs. weight. $69K list price. Quattro (awd). Automatic transmission only. 25 mpg highway.

wow?

I thought someone said it weighs less than the C6 top, supposedly quite light. That was back around January or so. Maybe someone will chime in after the Augi carbon fiber thing is done.

"The interior carbon fiber in a $56K car looks cheap compared to the carbon fiber in a $125K car. The makers of the $56K car really dropped the ball."

Seriously?

I doubt that a 15 year old could own 8 Corvettes or that a person old enough to own 8 corvettes would write with grammar this poor.

There is also the fact that you are comparing a 125K+ car only available in Europe to the C7 so I doubt you have seen the supposedly better carbon fiber in person.

!Troll Fail!

The black alcantara headliner option , replacing the standard black cloth, is $3000 for some of Audi's 2014 US models. The two square yards of material probably costs them a few bucks.

The CF dash looks fine. The non-CF dash on the other hand looks pretty plain and barren.

Search pre preg or "dry" carbon fiber, then get back with us.

I think its the finish not so much the quality... Corvette as a matte finish . The Audi a polished look...

I do think that if they just carried the Carbon down the whole center counsel. It would of been a whole lot better

The after market will get it done. I can see matching finish maybe with a touch of aluminum ... 995.00 we already paid for the first half
