Default Colors and Exhaust

Placing my order on Thursday! In a color quandary though. Anyone have a link that has decent look at the colors? Also... Thinking about the exhaust upgrade... Any thoughts?

You have to search the forum for pictures. Or google image for C7. Standard tips are 3". NPP are 4" in diameter plus 5 more HP.

My thoughts on dark colors vs lighter colors. It interesting when you compare a dark color side-by-side with a lighter color, i.e., black vs silver. Look at a silver C7 and note how every detail of the body shape can be easily seen; the sculptured shapes or "character lines" as body designers and model makers call them. On a black car, most of the character lines do not stand out and they get lost in the darkness.

Now, I love black cars and there's is an overall dramatic effect it has. Like the old song once said, "Black Cars at Night". But on the C7, I prefer a color that shows and highlights the beautiful shapes and curves of this car.

Then again, that only my take. There's a reason why they come in 10 different colors, just like there's a reason we all have different names.

As for the NPP exhaust option, anytime I can buy extra horsepower and have control of my exhaust note, I'm in on it.

I bought AW since I love the lighter colors on the C7 (And it may have had something to do with the wife telling me that's the only color I can buy!). I also did the NPP exhaust since I get the bigger tips, louder sound when I want it, but also a little subdued if Im driving around the the subdivision.

As far as pics the best one I found were the pics from BG this year. Also goog Rick Conti, his blog has a bunch of good pics of different color cars.

Here's the link to the Corvette "colorizer." You can check the exterior colors and the wheel combinations with each color.

They're the standard painted wheels that come on Z51-equipped cars.
